Top-up packs are one-time purchases that stack on top of your monthly allowance. They never expire - useful for bursty months without committing to a higher tier.
Decision Engine - the lever
Build once. Run a million times. Predictable.
The Decision Engine runs your scoring code in our own sandbox pod - not the LLM. You pay 1 token once to AI-generate the code; from then on every submission's result page is computed in ~100 ms inside the sandbox (still 1 token per submission, same as Smart Rules - but no LLM cost or latency variance). Available on every plan, Free included.
Refund policy
All sales are final. We don't issue refunds.
What this means
- Monthly + annual subscriptions are non-refundable - full or partial - under any circumstance.
- Top-up token packs are non-refundable once purchased.
- Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund anything already paid.
- Unused tokens on a paid plan reset on renewal. Top-up packs you already own never expire.
Why we're strict about this
The Free plan exists so you can evaluate every feature Askery offers - form building, AI editing, Form Intelligence, embeds, integrations - without ever paying us a rupee. By the time you upgrade, you should already know it works for you.
We mention this twice - here and in our Terms of Service - so there's no ambiguity at checkout.
Frequently asked
- Why tokens instead of per-seat or per-response?
- Forms and submissions don't cost us anything per item - it's database storage. AI calls cost real money per request. Charging for AI maps the price to the actual cost so you only pay for what's expensive, not for users or for collecting responses.
- What exactly is a token?
- A unit of AI work. Generating a form = 2 tokens; editing, refining, generating Form Intelligence logic, generating personas or insights = 1 token each. Submissions on plain forms are free; submissions on a Form Intelligence-enabled form cost 1 token each (one AI call per respondent). Imports (form or brand), analytics, sharing and embedding are always free.
- Do unused tokens carry over?
- Monthly plan allowances reset on renewal - use-it-or-lose-it. Top-up packs (bought separately) never expire. Free's 30-token monthly allowance refills on your signup-anniversary day each month.
- I'm on Free and have Form Intelligence on - what if I run out of tokens?
- Submissions still come in (Form Intelligence is optional output, not a gate on the submit button). They just won't get a personalised result page until your monthly tokens refill or you top up. We watch for this and email you before it happens - you'll get a heads-up at 50 tokens left, so it shouldn't catch you off guard. Upgrade to Pro for 300 tokens/month and no risk of pauses.
- What happens if a generation fails?
- You're not charged. We only debit after the AI returns a usable result. Timeouts, parse errors, model outages - all free retries.
- How is Form Intelligence different from AI form authoring?
- AI authoring writes the form (questions, options). Form Intelligence runs at submit time - Smart Rules has an LLM evaluate each submission against your rules, or Decision Engine runs your custom scoring code in our sandbox. Available on every plan including Free. Generating Smart Rules costs 1 token; generating Decision Engine code costs 5 (it's a multi-pass codegen). After that, each submission on an FI-enabled form costs 1 token (one Smart Rules LLM evaluation or one Decision Engine sandbox run per submission). Plain forms - Form Intelligence off - collect unlimited responses for free, on every plan.
- What's different about Pro vs Business?
- Pro removes Askery branding, gives you a custom domain, 300 tokens/month and up to 3 team members. Business adds programmatic access (Read API with scoped Bearer keys), an audit log of every workspace action, and seats up to 15 - designed for teams that need accountability + integration into their own stack.
- Will respondents see Askery branding?
- On Free, a small "Powered by Askery" mark sits in the top-left of the form. Removed on every paid plan.
- Can I export everything?
- Always. One canonical schema for the form, CSV/JSON for responses, on-demand. No lock-in.
- Do you take a cut of form payments?
- No. If you collect payments on a form, the processor (Razorpay, Stripe) connects directly to your account.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes - month-to-month, no minimum. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period; tokens you've already bought as top-ups don't expire.
- Do you offer refunds?
- No. All payments - subscriptions, annual plans, top-up packs - are non-refundable, in full or in part, under any circumstances. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund anything already charged. Tokens already in your balance remain usable until the end of the current billing period (subscriptions) or forever (top-up packs). Please use the Free plan to evaluate before committing to a paid plan or top-up.
